The one thing my freezer needs all summer long ❄️

Hey Reader,

There is something special between me and and flavoured ice cubes. The kind that turn a plain glass of sparkling water into something worth slowing down for.

This week it is ginger mint theme. Fresh mint, grated ginger, few lime slices, and water. That's really it. Simply pour it into a silicone tray, freeze it, and you have got yourself a stash of flavour that is ready whenever you need it.

Ginger Mint Ice Cubes

They bring cocktail, mocktails, and fizzy drinks to life. Simple to make, ready when you need them.

I drop these into a gin and tonic for a bit different flavour, into ginger ale for an easy mocktail, or straight into plain water on a hot afternoon. They melt slowly, so your drink stays flavourful instead of watery.

Once you make one batch, you will start looking at whatever is left in your fruit bowl a little differently. From berries, citrus, cucumber, herbs on their last leg before the bin, all of it works the same way.

While you are there, poke around. There are many other simple recipes waiting for you to explore. Check my other fancy flavoured ice cubes and let me know what you think.
