I thought we were done!

Hey Reader,

I thought we were done with winter. Truly. I had already started thinking about warmer days, longer walks, and not needing five layers just to step outside.

And then this week happened...
Temperatures remained below zero (dropping even more) and even a quick trip outside made me want to rush back in and shut the door behind me. I try to remain optimistic and enthusiastic... but sometimes, it takes extra effort to get back.

On days like this, I notice how much I crave simple comfort. Not big plans or doing more, just small things that make the day feel cozy and warm.

For me, that usually starts in the kitchen...

I put the kettle on, grab my favourite mug, and let the house fill with warmth and the aroma that only a hot drink brings. There is something about holding a warm cup in your hands that slows everything down, even if only for a few minutes.

That is how my London Fog has been making its way back into my routine. Aromatic Earl Grey tea and steamed milk, feels familiar and grounding. It is not fancy or complicated, just comforting in the best way.

If tea is not your thing, this kind of weather is perfect for other warm drinks too. Turmeric tea, ginger tea, or anything you already love and keep in your pantry. The point is not what you drink, but the pause it gives you in the middle of a cold day.

Try them out and stay warm, my friend.
