Hey, Reader. You probably have experienced (at least once) the moment when when you open the fridge, stare at it helplessly, and then close it and order pizza...again? Yeah. I've been there more times than I want to admit. The thing is, it wasn't that there was no food, because it absolutely there was some food in the fridge. From leftover rice from two days ago, or half rotisserie chicken. Maybe a container of something I was too scared to open. But I had no idea what to do with any of it. So I'd toss it in the waste bin, feel guilty, and start fresh. Every. Single. Week. It felt like such a waste of money, of food, of time. And even a waste of my own effort and time spent earlier, because I was the one who cooked that rice days before. I started paying attention to what I was actually throwing out every week. And it was a lot. More than I expected. That's when I got really curious about how to actually flip leftovers into something good - not just reheat. I'll tell you more about what I figured out in few days.
